We are a community based and volunteer run, not-for-profit market donating our proceeds back to local charities and organisations.
Ballan Farmers Market is held on the second Saturday of the month from 9.00am to 1.00pm.
The Ballan Farmers Market commenced in November 2011 in its unique location - The Mill Cottage, 96 Inglis Street Ballan. With 25 or more stallholders placed throughout the beautiful surrounds our market attracts hundreds of people each month.
The Mill Cottage is a beautiful old world cafe where you can sit in the garden with a delicacy to eat, a hot coffee to drink and listen to the talented buskers when you have finished your shopping.
Bring your shopping bags; come and enjoy the sounds of local musicians and revel in the clear skies and country feel of Ballan. We hope to see you here soon!

The Ballan Farmers' Market is an initiative of the Ballan and District Chamber of Commerce. We have received funding and incredible support from the Chamber and from Moorabool Shire. We received a Farmers' Market grant from the Victorian Government. Without this support, the market could not have commenced.
We are looking for stallholders
Ballan Farmers Market is always keen to talk to stallholders who grow their own fresh produce to sell, especially those in the Moorabool region or makers that make and create their own products.
The Ballan Farmers Market has combined with the Ballan Makers Market, so we are also looking for good quality products if you have a 'home based business'.... and make it, bake it, grow it or create it.
We have a policy to limit the numbers of any one particular product to ensure that customers have choice and stallholders needs are also met.

As a side note, we do recommend that all stall holders have a website, Facebook Page, Instagram or Twitter account. Our job is to get the customers to the market and we do that very well ..... but customers need to know about YOU and your products too.
We also NEED to know IF you will be attending EACH MARKET. We understand there will be times when you cannot attend. We would not like for you to arrive early one Saturday morning 'expecting' a site because you had a site 6 mths previously! We have limited space available for our stall holders and we do our very best to accommodate everyone at each of our markets - but we do need to know IF you are attending or not!
